Bath furniture components

Bath furniture components can help stop you from getting that feeling that you are taking a step back in time when ever you put foot into your bathroom!

Fear not!
It's amazing just how quickly and easily bath furniture components can turn your bathroom into your "Pleasure-Room". Ok, maybe I am over doing it here a little...

These days an entire set of bath components can be bought for just under $75!
These include items such as; towel bars, paper holders, robe hooks and towel rings. The best part is that they can all be installed in under 2 hours. (And that is for someone that has no idea what they are doing!)

Now days, manufacturers offer dozens of finish and style options in bath components that will serve everybody's needs (No matter how weird they are)

  • First determine what style you want.
  • Then take accurate measurements of your bath. The size of your bath will help you determine the number and type of accessories you will need.

Decide if you need cabinets or shelves. Shelves are a great way to organize your space, and are used more so when you have a small bath or pedestal Basin. Shelves are also a great way of showing off a few decorative items.

Bath furniture components placement tips

  • Towel rings are usually placed alongside the sink.
  • Hang the towel ring at a comfortable position especially when children and seniors are part of your house hold.
  • Towel bars are usually around 18 to 24 inches in length, and typically sit at a height of 48 inches from the floor. This should allow your towel to hang freely without touching the floor.
  • For children's baths, you can hang the towel at 36 inches.
  • Be sure to keep these bars away from electric sockets.

There are a great variety of paper holders these days .a few examples are; traditional wall-mounted, spring-loaded styles; pivoting paper holders and free-standing paper holders.

The Free-standing paper holder is becoming more and more popular due to the fact that you don't have to do any drilling in order to mount it!

Keep your bathroom clutter free by adding the proper number of bathroom furniture components to your bathroom. A general rule is two to three counter accessories, i.e. a tooth brush holder, a cup holder and a soap dish!
