Towel bars are usually around 18 to 24 inches in length, and typically sit at a height of 48 inches from the floor. This should allow your towel to hang freely without touching the floor.
For children's baths, you can hang the towel at 36 inches.
Be sure to keep these bars away from electric sockets.
